We are seeking an inspiring and dynamic Head of Music to lead and develop our vibrant music provision across the whole school.
This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding practitioner to shape and grow a forward-thinking music department within a supportive and ambitious community.
The Role The Head of Music will:
Provide strategic leadership for Music from Early Years through to Sixth Form
Deliver high-quality classroom teaching across Key Stages
Develop a broad and engaging curriculum, including GCSE and A Level
Lead and inspire choirs, orchestras, ensembles, and performance opportunities
Oversee peripatetic music staff and instrumental provision
Organise concerts, productions, recitals, and community events
Promote music as a central and celebrated part of school life
The Ideal Candidate Will Have: A strong academic background in Music
Proven experience of teaching Music to a high standard
Leadership experience or the ambition and readiness to lead
The ability to inspire pupils of all ages and abilities
Excellent organisational and communication skills
A passion for performance and co-curricular enrichment
