Job Summary
Brentwood Senior School is an academically selective, HMC co‑educational independent school with small class sizes and a happy, ambitious and supportive staff team. We are seeking to appoint an outstanding Head of Athletics and Teacher of PE on a one‑year contract. This middle leadership role offers an exciting opportunity to shape and deliver a clear vision for athletics across a thriving whole‑school programme.
Responsibilities
Lead the delivery of Athletics within Games afternoons, oversee the School’s busy fixture calendar and coordinate a dynamic co‑cultural training provision to ensure alignment with the School’s ambitious sporting strategy.
Teach Academic PE, including GCSE and A Level, and deliver high‑quality Games lessons.
Contribute fully to the wider life of the School, including co‑cultural activities and Saturday fixtures, within a highly supportive and forward‑thinking environment.
Qualifications and Experience
Enthusiastic and qualified graduate with the ability to coach a range of athletics disciplines, supporting both participation and performance.
