Reporting to the Business Development Manager, responsibilities include developing marketing materials, managing legal directory and award submissions, maintaining web presence, and promoting client and practice highlights. The role involves conducting industry research, tracking opportunities in CRM, and analyzing data to guide client development. It also includes assisting with proposal and pitch preparation, drafting responses, and tracking activities to optimize outcomes. Additionally, the specialist coordinates events, webinars, and sponsorship opportunities, ensuring smooth logistics and strategic alignment. Supporting team members and mentoring junior staff are integral to the role. Qualifications include a bachelor's degree and at least three years of experience in business development or marketing within professional services, with strong communication, organizational, and project management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and familiarity with AI applications are required, along with high integrity, discretion, and a customer-centric approach. The position offers a flexible work arrangement, with 60% in-office presence and the remainder remote, and the ability to work overtime as needed. Salary ranges for this role are $80,000-$95,000 in Boston and $95,000-$110,000 in New York.
