Business Development Specialist Supports initiatives in Private Equity and M&A, working closely with attorneys and professionals to develop new business and strengthen client relationships. Responsibilities include creating and maintaining marketing materials, managing legal directory and award submissions, and producing content for internal and external platforms. The role also involves conducting client and industry research, tracking opportunities in CRM, and analyzing data to guide business development efforts. Additionally, the Specialist assists in proposal and pitch preparation, editing RFP responses, and tracking activity to share outcomes and best practices. Event logistics, including webinars, sponsorships, and strategic partnerships, are also managed. Supporting the Business Development Managers and mentoring junior team members are key team duties. Requirements include a bachelor's degree, 3+ years in professional services business development or marketing, strong communication and organizational skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and AI tools. The candidate must demonstrate integrity, discretion, and a client-focused attitude, with the ability to work independently or collaboratively under deadlines. The position requires a 60% in-office presence with flexible remote work options and occasional overtime. Salary ranges are $80,000$95,000 in Boston and $95,000$110,000 in New York.
