Overview
Apogee has an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Support Analyst (Subject Matter Expert) supporting the M-Code Aviation Receivers Joint Program Office (MAR JPO) at Warner Robins AFB, GA. This position provides expert logistics and sustainment engineering support for GPS User Equipment systems, ensuring fleet readiness and lifecycle supportability.
This is a full-time position located at Warner Robins Air Force Base (AFB).
Responsibilities
- Conduct logistics support analysis to resolve supportability shortfalls in fielded systems
- Evaluate failures and accomplish trend analysis for field failures and deficiency reports
- Monitor and identify solutions for Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS)
- Identify product improvements for service life extension and technology refresh
- Support the development of acquisition documents and upgrade packages (ECPs) to address logistics issues
- Evaluate OEM logistic assessments of obsolete parts and Re-Test-OK (RTOK) items
- Monitor fielded items to ensure Operational Safety, Suitability and Effectiveness (OSS&E)
- Support Key Data Processor Loading & Installation Facility (KLIF) operations
- Assist in budgeting and cost accountability for KLIF/CIC operations
- Track incoming and outgoing SAASM/MGUE device programming
- Support Integrated Support Facility (ISF) management and operations
- Develop logistics roadmaps and sustainment strategies
- Participate in Product Support Business Case Analysis (PS-BCA)
- Coordinate with depots and field activities on maintenance and supply issues
- Support Provisioning and Technical Order development
- Manage Government Furnished Item (GFI) and Other Direct Costs (ODC) inventory
Qualifications
Minimum Experience:
Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a Secret level clearance
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Engineering, or related field
Years of Experience: 15 years of DoD logistics experience
Additional experience:
- In-depth knowledge of Air Force logistics systems and processes
- Experience with GPS/GNSS or avionics sustainment preferred
- Knowledge of MIL-STD-1388 and logistics support analysis
- Experience with DMSMS programs and obsolescence management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills for coordination with multiple stakeholders
