
Computer Aided Design Drafter

Cyient is seeking an Associate OSP CAD Designer to support telecom engineering teams by producing accurate, construction-ready CAD drawings. This role is ideal for candidates with hands-on Bentley MicroStation experience and a strong drafting background in telecommunications or infrastructure projects.
Candidates with prior experience supporting ASG, Congruex, Pike, or similar telecom service providers are highly encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities Convert engineers’ and technicians’ sketches, redlines, and design inputs into accurate CAD drawings
Produce final drawings that meet engineering standards for clarity, completeness, and accuracy
Review drawings and documentation to identify and resolve missing or unclear details
Support revisions, updates, and as-built documentation
Follow established CAD standards and drafting procedures
Work closely with engineering and project teams in a remote environment
Required Qualifications 2+ years of CAD drafting experience
Proficiency with Bentley MicroStation
Experience working with engineering drawings and technical documentation
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow drafting standards
Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, file management, PDF markups)
Preferred (Highly Desired) Experience Previous experience working for or supporting:
ASG
Congruex
Pike
Other telecom engineering or OSP service providers
Exposure to telecom or OSP projects (fiber, conduit, underground/aerial design)
Experience supporting engineering teams in an execution-focused CAD role
Candidates with Bentley MicroStation experience and prior ASG / Congruex / Pike exposure will be prioritized.
What This Role Is Associate-level, hands-on CAD drafting role
Focused on production and documentation (not a senior engineering or management role)
Ideal for candidates who enjoy execution-focused drafting work in telecom
Compensation Hourly rate up to $25.00/hour , based on experience
Fully remote (New York / Virtual)
