Monday-Friday, 6.25 hours per day when school is in session and one day prior to students returning to school after the summer break (181 days per school year)
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or its equivalent. Minimum of two years of college credit preferred.
Previous experience working with young children in a school setting a plus
Must be flexible, creative, have a good sense of humor, and demonstrate strong organizational skills
Must be highly motivated and self-directed
Salary and Benefits:
In accordance with the Support Staff Collective Bargaining agreement. Starting Salary range: $18.23-$20.01/hour Comprehensive benefits.
Responsibilities:
Assist students in one-to-one instruction and/or provide support for special education students in the general education classroom
Implement IEP goals as directed by the Special Education teacher
Collect data regarding student performance in the resource room and/or general education classroom
