The Internal Communications & Intranet Specialist supports company-wide communication efforts by managing and enhancing our internal communication channels, with primary responsibility for the company intranet. This role plays a key part in ensuring employees receive clear, timely, and engaging information that supports alignment, culture, and business priorities. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented communicator who enjoys content creation, digital platform management, and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities Draft, edit, and distribute company-wide communications, including announcements, newsletters, and leadership messages
Partner with HR and department leaders to develop and execute communication plans for key initiatives
Ensure messaging is clear, consistent, and aligned with company voice and values
Support executive communications by drafting and formatting internal updates as needed
Serve as primary owner and administrator of the company intranet
Maintain accurate, organized, and up-to-date content
Improve site usability, navigation, and employee experience
Monitor engagement metrics and recommend improvements to increase adoption and effectiveness
Coordinate with IT or vendors on system enhancements and troubleshooting
Manage internal communication channels (intranet, newsletters, email distributions, digital boards, etc.)
Develop content calendars to ensure consistent communication cadence
Identify opportunities to improve communication reach and employee engagement
Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferred in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, Human Resources, or related field
1+ years experience in creating Marketing Communications
Strong written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail and organizational ability
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital content management systems
Preferred Qualifications Experience managing or supporting an intranet platform
Understanding of communication metrics and analytics
Familiarity with employee engagement and HR environments
