Ironwood Cancer & Research Centers is looking for a dedicated, compassionate, and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our oncology team! Location: Chandler, Arizona - (Dobson & Frye) travel to other locations required Full-Time | Day Shift | Competitive Pay + Benefits
What You'll Do:
- Prepare and sanitize exam rooms before and between patients
- Room patients and record vital signs and assessments
- Manage patient charts and electronic medical records (EMR)
- Handle phone calls, referrals, and patient result notifications
- Set up orders for transfusions, hospital admissions, phlebotomy, and more
- Monitor prescription folders and assist with drug replacement programs
- Coordinate special testing and physician requests
What We're Looking For:
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
- 1-2 years of MA experience in a fast-paced setting
- Strong communication, organizational and customer service skills
- Compassionate, team-oriented, and adaptable personality
- EMR experience and computer proficiency a plus
- Positive, professional attitude with a team-first mindset and a passion for oncology care
- Work alongside renowned medical oncologists and a supportive clinical team
