Pay
$32.83 - $38.29 / hour, depending on experience and qualifications
Plus shift differential of $2.00 for any hours worked on 3rd Shift

Schedule
3rd Shift (Sunday - Thursday, 10:00 p.m. - 6:30 a.m.)
Clock out for lunch & other days and hours as needed

Job Summary
McKee Foods is seeking a Packaging Mechanic to join our Maintenance team.
Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair all equipment necessary to the manufacturing function in the packaging and shipping areas
Perform other related duties as needed

Required Qualifications
Basic understanding of pneumatics and power transmissions (chain drives, e.g.)
Ability to properly remove and install bearings
Ability to troubleshoot basic mechanical equipment
Ability to read mechanical blueprints and drawings
Accurate measuring ability
Ability to furnish own tools
Demonstrated ability to promote continuous process improvement and LEAN principles

Preferred Qualifications
Two years of industrial maintenance experience
Experience as a Maintenance Utility at McKee Foods
Mechanical and/or electrical training at a technical school
Sketching ability
Pneumatics and/or Hydraulics experience
Basic machine shop skills
Basic welding skills
Ability to obtain and maintain a Lift Truck Operator (L.T.O.) license
