Are you passionate about automotive engineering and eager to design innovative Closure Structures? Join us in shaping the future of mobility by developing high-performance parts such as Hoods, Fenders, Doors, Decklids, and Liftgates — with a strong focus on aluminum and composite designs.
What You’ll Do Lead the design and development of closure structural systems from concept to production
Collaborate cross-functionally with teams including Vehicle Safety, NVH, Durability, CAE, Manufacturing, and Suppliers
Apply deep technical expertise in kinematics, material selection, and GD&T
Perform virtual engineering & physical validation testing
Support supplier communication, tooling development, and prototype assembly
Solve complex design challenges with a hands-on, problem-solving mindset
Qualifications 5+ years experience in automotive closures systems (OEM or supplier)
Proficient in CATIA V5/V6 and other engineering analysis tools (ANSYS, MATLAB, ADAMS, etc.)
Experience with Class A surfaces, prototype & production assembly
Deep knowledge of manufacturing processes (stampings, extrusions, castings, joining techniques)
Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (ABET accredited) or equivalent practical experience
