Water Operator I (Full-Time)

Town of Grand Lake is hiring a Full-Time Water Operator I.

The Water Operator I assists in the operation, maintenance, and repair of the Town’s water treatment and distribution systems. Duties include:
Assisting with inspections, sampling, and system monitoring
Supporting repairs of mains, valves, hydrants, and meters
Responding to service calls and assisting with emergencies
Maintaining records and supporting Public Works operations
Participating in an on-call rotation

Requirements:
Education:
High School Diploma or GED

Experience:
Experience in public works, utilities, or construction preferred
Basic knowledge of water systems or willingness to learn
Valid driver’s license (Colorado license within 6 months)
CDL preferred or ability to obtain within 12 months if required

Salary Range: $23.10–$35.20/hour (DOQ)
