Responsibilities

Construction Laborer

• Secure job site each day to eliminate potential hazards


• Ensures that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are adhered to


• Brings any and all safety or hazardous conditions/concerns to the attention of the foreman


• Operates construction, excavation, hauling, and maintenance equipment including backhoes, front-end loaders, bulldozers, excavators, or grade tractors.


• Prepares construction sites for building, demolition, or excavation.


• Uses excavating machinery to dig holes and trenches used in structural concrete.


• Transports tools and other construction equipment to and from construction sites.


• Uses equipment to prepare building sites for exterior site concrete such as parking lots, driveways, sidewalks, and loading docks.


• Operates machinery used to build bridges, roads, and railroads.


• Inspects and fuels vehicles prior to beginning shift.


• Performs routine maintenance and repairs.


• Performs other related duties as assigned


• Operate powered hand tools, when necessary


• Working with Fuels/gasoline


• Painting


• Works on outside equipment as required, regardless of weather conditions


• Previous experience and knowledge of fuel systems, electrical and/or plumbing is highly desirable

• Accurately complete required paperwork/documentation


• Comply with all safety policies and employment guidelines


• Experience with Power tools and Power equipment is highly desirable

Class A CDL/ Heavy Machine Operator

• Prepares paperwork for each load


• Maintains daily logs and ensures accuracy


• Ensure all documents are completed in accordance to State and Federal regulations


• Inspect the truck/equipment and load prior to each departure


• Stops at required weigh and check stations, if applicable


• Confirm all cargo is secured prior to departure
