The ideal candidate will have a background in corporate finance and be familiar with issues investors face in complex restructurings.

$365,000- $575,000 Annual Salary based on experience

As a Restructuring Associate Attorney, you will be responsible for providing legal counsel and representation to clients in matters related to corporate restructuring, bankruptcy, and insolvency. You will work closely with senior attorneys and clients to develop and implement effective strategies to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct legal research and analysis on complex restructuring and bankruptcy issues

Prepare and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs

Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings and trials

Negotiate with opposing counsel and other parties involved in restructuring and bankruptcy cases

Provide strategic advice to clients on restructuring and bankruptcy matters

Collaborate with other attorneys and professionals, such as accountants and financial advisors, to develop comprehensive solutions for clients

Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations related to restructuring and bankruptcy

Mentor and supervise junior associates and legal staff

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Active license to practice law in the state

5+ years of experience in corporate restructuring and bankruptcy law

Strong understanding of bankruptcy laws and procedures

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Exceptional communication and negotiation skills

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously

Strong work ethic and dedication to providing high-quality legal services to clients
