A leading plaintiff law firm in downtown Fort Lauderdale is seeking a legal assistant to work out of our new Fort Lauderdale office.
This a fast-paced desk that requires an experienced litigation assistant with a positive attitude who can multi-task and anticipate the needs of an active litigation attorney. All eligible candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of litigation experience, including but not limited to the area’s personal injury, products liability, and/or wrongful death. This position requires a highly organized individual with excellent communication skills.
Job Duties:
Drafting pleadings and legal correspondence
E-Filing
Coordinate meetings with opposing counsel and experts
Communicating with clients
Manage busy calendar
Prepare Trial exhibits
Prepare for trial and mediation
Provide any additional legal support for Attorney and team
Eligible candidates must have a positive attitude and possess the ability to manage their time in order to meet sensitive deadlines. The firm will only consider applicants who have prior litigation experience. All applicants must be proficient in Microsoft Office. Experience with Filevine is a plus.
