Job Description
Role: UI Developer
Location: Charlotte, NC
Duration: Long term
Job Description:
The persons would be involved in designing, developing, configuring and maintaining web applications hosted as standalone applications or in a Portal environment.
Must have at least 5 years of programming experience with UI technologies
Must have excellent communications
Must be a team player
Understand the importance of User Interface and User experience from a Web perspective
Understanding of Web technologies
Experience with Agile Scrum methodologies
Some Programming experience with JAVA technologies
Basic SQL with Hands-on experience with any one RDBMS
Have used JIRA / Wiki and other collaboration tools in a team environment
Knowledge of Continuous Integration
Knowledge of Code Quality Management tools
Knowledge of SSO
Understanding of Web/App Servers like Apache HTTPD and Apache Tomcat would be a plus
Liferay portal experience would be a plus.
