Temporary Office Support Role
This temporary office support role supports departments/divisions throughout the City on an as-needed basis. Performs routine clerical tasks such as answering telephones, making appointments and referrals, typing correspondence, reports, and forms, filing, operating computer programs, and providing general customer service support. Work is performed under direct supervision within each department/division.
This is a Part-Time Temporary Position. This posting will close after the receipt of the first 35 qualified applicants or 1 week (April 28th at 9:30 AM EST.), whichever comes first.
The job requires mostly sedentary work that involves walking or standing some of the time, exerting up to 10 pounds of force regularly, and routine computer operations. Reaching, bending, and stooping may be required when filing or operating office equipment. Risks to exposure may include dust, pollen, and loud noises. The job requires normal visual acuity, field of vision, hearing, speaking, color perception, and depth perception.
