Key Responsibilities
Lead the preconstruction phase for multiple commercial projects from conceptual design through GMP or lump-sum pricing
Develop and manage detailed cost estimates, budgets, and value engineering options
Coordinate closely with owners, architects, engineers, and internal operations teams to align scope, schedule, and cost
Oversee constructability reviews, risk assessments, and design development milestones
Prepare and manage bid packages; lead subcontractor outreach, evaluation, and leveling
Collaborate with project teams to ensure a seamless handoff from preconstruction to construction
Support schedule development in coordination with project management and field leadership
Provide clear, professional presentations to clients and internal stakeholders
Qualifications
7+ years of experience in preconstruction, estimating, or project management within commercial construction
Proven experience leading preconstruction efforts on mid-to-large scale projects
Strong understanding of construction means and methods
Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings and specifications
Experience working with subcontractors across multiple trades
Proficiency with estimating and project management software (specific platforms not required)
Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
