Warehouse Receiving Clerk
The receiving clerk coordinates all warehouse and receiving activities in accordance with company policies and established departmental procedures. The role is responsible for accurately documenting and distributing records for all merchandise entering the property, completing all receiving reports and receiving slips, ensuring both quantity and quality standards are met.
How You Will Create the Extraordinary
HOW YOU WILL CREATE THE EXTRAORDINARY
Coordinate all warehouse and receiving activities. Department walk through is done on a daily basis to assure cleanliness and all equipment is operational.
Perform receiving audits, maintain receiving log, and review requisitions for accuracy and all appropriate signatures.
Maintain up to date inventory sheets
Perform monthly inventory reports.
Work various schedules and overtime if needed.
Operates powered industrial equipment (forklift, pallet jack, stacker).
Interfaces with leadership to ensure timely and efficient service capabilities including receipt, storage, release and disposition of property. Alerts leadership to damaged, spoiled, obsolete, surplus and excess goods or unusual usage patterns.
Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Will Need
Must be 19 years of age or older
Must be able to speak, read, and write the English language
HS diploma or GED required
Must have strong communication skills
Must present a well-groomed appearance
Must possess a valid driver's license with fewer than three moving violations (and no major violations such as DUI) in the past 36 months
Flexible to work various shifts to include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
Must be able to work independently.
