
Regional Business Development Manager - Pacific NW Region

As a Regional Business Development Manager (RBDM) , you’ll identify, engage, sell new customer business, and convert lost business, building a book of $3M‑$5M annually. Your focus will be on relationship building, customer retention and incremental growth, and helping sell our entire organization’s portfolio. The RBDM will receive a competitive base salary and commission plan.
Responsibilities
Develop and/or manage leads resulting in $3‑$5M in new business sales annually throughout your assigned market in all industry segments.
Develop and maintain a diverse and balanced pipeline with at least $20M in new growth opportunities.
Develop and maintain strong customer relationships at the local level.
Represent 48forty at various tradeshows & industry events, developing a network and establishing 48forty as a solutions provider.
Utilize solutions and match potential organizational capability to various needs as identified by the customer base.
Travel within your region daily to identify, close, and cultivate sales opportunities.
Travel to customer sites in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and Utah as required.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain, or other equivalent academic disciplines.
Minimum of 3‑5 years of experience in a regional or national sales position.
Experience in the Logistics, Industrial Packaging, Transportation, or Pallet/Container industries is strongly preferred.
Proven quality experience with account management, sales management, and client relations in B2B sales.
Superior computer skills (MS Office and CRM) are mandatory.
