Short Description

Performs all Mail / Courier functions according to pre-set timetable to cover all routes. Has all outgoing materials prepared to go according to designated courier routes and their prescribed times of service.
Follows all hospital and departmental policies consistently.
Performs assigned duties to the designated standard at all times. Responsible for the sorting and delivery of Internal Mail, Patient Charts, Medical supplies, employee files and Cooper Billing to all off-site Cooper locations, with the added responsibility of handling Cooper Payroll and Finance check runs from Cooper's billing offices in Cherry Hill to the Camden campus.
Oversee the daily coordination of the flow of materials out of the mailroom and courier room to be delivered via a sub-contracted courier service.
Responsibilities to include multiple daily runs to designated departments and offices for pick up of correspondence, supplies, sensitive files, equipment etc.
Position also includes multiple daily delivery of incoming correspondence, equipment and files along with various special deliveries.

Experience Required

* Postal experience preferred.
* Individual must have a willingness to perform routine, repetitive tasks on a continual basis, accept supervision from a number of persons, and perform tasks despite frequent interruptions.
* The ability to perform tasks with due consideration for patients, staff, and visitors in the vicinity.

Education Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred

License/Certification Requirements

Valid NJ driver's license preferred

Hourly Rate Min $16.5

Hourly Rate Max $25

The New Jersey Pay Transparency Act requires disclosure of the pay range for this position.

A salary offer will vary based on the job role, candidate experience, qualifications, internal pay equity and market data.
