Responsibilities
Work under the direction of the supervisor of the Switchboard/Answering Service supervisor.
The Switchboard attendant will answer all calls promptly and courteously, recording messages accurately, and deliver messages following the physicians instructions.
Keep accurate status information according to hospital policy. Cross-train in the area of the Switchboard and maintain proficiency.
Maintain a friendly, caring, and professional attitude toward all employees, patients and other calling parties.
Provide a good working environment within the department to insure a safe and clean work environment
Qualifications
Preferred Job Requirements:
High School diploma/GED
