Accounts Payable Clerk
The Accounts Payable Clerk supports daily financial operations by processing vendor invoices, maintaining accurate accounts payable records, and ensuring timely payments. This role requires strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key responsibilities include:
Processing vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner
Matching invoices to purchase orders and supporting documentation
Verifying required approvals and ensuring compliance with company policies
Preparing and processing scheduled payment runs (check, ACH, and wire)
Reconciling vendor statements and researching discrepancies
Maintaining organized and accurate accounts payable records
Assisting with month-end close activities related to accounts payable
Responding to vendor inquiries and internal requests professionally
Supporting audits by providing documentation and reports as needed
Assisting with additional accounting or administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications include:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Associate degree in accounting or finance preferred
13 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience
Experience with accounting or ERP systems (Microsoft Business Central preferred)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
