Barnes-Jewish Hospital - - Responsibilities: Completes accounts receivable insurance collections and follow-up on claims to expedite payment from assigned insurance companies; Contacts insurance companies regarding claims, updates account information, and completes basic administrative tasks on accounts; Completes necessary follow-up tasks in a timely manner while maintaining departmental quality and productivity standards; Confirms patient benefits with insurance carrier and re-files insurance claims as necessary to ensure timely and accurate payment; Provides on-going analysis & review of insurance verifications and account submissions
