Akkodis is seeking a
Web Developer
for a
Contract
with a client in
Nashville TN (Remote) . This role focuses on designing, building, and testing web‑based and backend applications for a major enterprise project.
Rate Range: $48/hour to $50/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Web Developer Job Responsibilities Include
Designing, developing, and testing complex web‑based and backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and related technologies.
Implementing CI/CD workflows through GitHub Actions and Jenkins while ensuring high‑quality, scalable, and maintainable code.
Collaborating with cross‑functional teams—including engineering, architecture, and product—to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions.
Conducting thorough debugging, performance tuning, and code reviews to ensure reliable application functionality and adherence to best practices.
Documenting technical designs, specifications, and implementation details while supporting ongoing digital transformation initiatives.
Mentoring junior developers, contributing to team decision‑making, and providing technical leadership across multiple project teams.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
7+ years of professional software development experience.
Advanced proficiency in Java and Spring Boot, with hands‑on experience implementing CI/CD using GitHub Actions (and Jenkins).
Strong experience with Spring MVC and SQL/MySQL, plus exposure to enterprise observability and platforms (e.g., WebLogic, Dynatrace/AppDynamics); Cloud (PCF/Azure) and logistics domain experience are a plus.

Pay Details
$48.00 to $50.00 per hour
