We are a medium-sized, internationally active company with branches in the USA and Australia. With our modular aluminum profile system, we develop and implement sophisticated solutions for mechanical engineering, automation technology, and customer-specific special applications.
As part of the strategic expansion of our development department, we are looking for an experienced development engineer (m/f/d) who, in addition to classic product and system development, will also be responsible for quality-related aspects throughout the entire product life cycle.
Development & design
• Technical implementation of development projects in the fields of aluminum system technology, mechanical and plant engineering, automation and mechatronic systems
• Development and support of prototypes – from the concept phase through sample construction and testing to series production readiness
• Participation in the further development of our modular system kit, including for robotics and conveyor technology solutions
• Technical coordination with internal specialist departments, system partners, and customers in Germany and abroad
Quality assurance & technical responsibility
• Integration of quality requirements as early as the development phase (“Quality by Design”)
• Definition, implementation, and monitoring of technical specifications, tolerances, and functional requirements
• Creation, review, and approval of drawings, parts lists, and technical documentation
• Planning and execution of functional, stress, and practical tests
• Technical evaluation of deviations, root cause analysis and derivation of improvement measures
• Participation in the establishment and further development of technical standards and development guidelines
Your profile Completed degree in
mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, or a comparable engineering science
or technician with relevant professional experience in the development environment
Ideally, you have experience in development, design, or technical project work; relevant career starters are also welcome
Very good knowledge of 3D design, ideally SolidWorks
Experience in working with technical drawings, tolerances and manufacturing processes
Understanding of quality-related processes and technical testing methods
Structured, analytical and solution-oriented approach to work
High level of technical responsibility and an eye for the overall system
Good written and spoken English skills
Interest in new technologies, development tasks, and interdisciplinary collaboration
Ability to work in a team, strong communication skills, and a professional demeanor
