Hotel Graveyard Front Desk Agent / Relief Night Auditor- FT

HOURLY RATE OF PAY: $20.27 as a Front Desk Agent / $21.27 as a Night Auditor, overtime eligible.
The Sacramento Marriott in Rancho Cordova is a premier full-service hotel offering 14,000 sq ft of meeting space with comprehensive catering capabilities. We are currently seeking a Front Desk Agent / Night Auditor to join our welcoming team. This position includes working 2-night audit (graveyard) shifts and 23 front desk (PM / graveyard) shifts per week. What You'll Do:
Welcome guests with warmth and professionalism, providing exceptional service from the moment they make a reservation to the time they check out.
Respond to guest needs, requests, and concerns with care and urgencyhelping to make every stay smooth, enjoyable, and memorable.
Promote and sell guest rooms, dining experiences, and seasonal hotel offers, helping guests make the most of their visit.
Perform nightly audit procedures, including reconciling daily transactions, balancing reports, and preparing financial summaries for management.
Monitor and work with hotel security and ensure guest safety during overnight hours.
Set up the next day's operations by preparing reports, updating systems, and assisting with early check-ins or wake-up calls as needed
What We're Looking For:
Open availability for 2-night audit (graveyard) shifts and 23 front desk (graveyard) shifts per week, including weekends (MondaySunday)
High school diploma or equivalent
12 years of hotel front desk, guest service, and night audit experience preferred
12 years of accounting experience preferred
12 years of customer service experience required
Ability to deliver exceptional customer service
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills
Experience working in a team-oriented environment
Valid RBS (Responsible Beverage Service) Certification
Relevant military experience is a plus
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background and credit check
