What You'll Do As a Mail Room Clerk, you will be responsible for:
Sorting and organizing incoming mail and packages, ensuring they are placed in the correct locations or directed to the appropriate departments.
Packaging and preparing outgoing mail, ensuring all items are correctly addressed and securely sealed.
Loading and unloading mail from trucks, carts, or storage areas, lifting up to 75 lbs throughout your shift.
Maintaining a clean, organized workspace and adhering to mail handling procedures.
Tracking and documenting mail movements to ensure accountability and accuracy.
Using critical thinking to resolve any discrepancies or issues promptly and efficiently.
Assisting with inventory of mailing supplies and report replenishment needs.
What You'll Bring The ideal candidate for this role will have:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a mailroom, warehouse, or logistics role is a plus but not required.
Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs and remain active throughout the day.
Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail.
Proficiency in basic computer applications like Microsoft Outlook and Word.
Self-motivated attitude and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
