Business Development Manager New Business Development (Chicago, IL)
Location: Chicago Office
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
We’re looking for a motivated Business Development Manager to join our growing team in Chicago.
This role focuses on new business development: cold calling, quoting freight, and building long term customer relationships.
We are pretty laid back! A collaborative team that already works with great customers, carriers, and we are ready to continue our growth!
What You’ll Do:
Prospect and develop new accounts (target: 80+ outbound calls per day)
Build relationships with OTR shippers and customers across different industries
Quote and price freight efficiently
Collaborate with Operations and Management to ensure smooth onboarding
What We’re Looking For:
Strong sales drive and communication skills
Experience in logistics or freight brokerage preferred
Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment
Based in or willing to relocate to Chicago
