Business Development Manager – Freight Forwarding
Location: Chicago, IL
A global logistics provider are seeking to recruit an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established, internationally recognized organization offering end-to-end supply chain solutions.
You will be responsible for developing new business opportunities while strengthening existing client relationships. Taking a consultative approach, you will identify customer needs and deliver tailored logistics solutions across transportation, freight forwarding, and warehousing services.
The Role
Develop new business across air and ocean freight services
Identify and win new shipper accounts within the local and regional market
Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close
Build and maintain long-term customer relationships
What We’re Looking For
Proven sales experience within freight forwarding or logistics
Strong new-business (hunter) mindset
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Salary up to $120,000
10% GP bonus structure
15 days PTO , 4 floating holidays , and 6 sick days (increasing with service)
