Travel MRI Technologist

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel MRI Technologist to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services at healthcare facilities across the United States. In this travel role, you will perform MRI examinations in a variety of clinical settings, adapting quickly to new environments while upholding the highest standards of patient care, safety, and image quality. As a Travel MRI Technologist, you will work closely with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to obtain accurate diagnostic images that support timely and effective patient treatment. You will be responsible for preparing and positioning patients for MRI procedures, explaining the exam process, and ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the scan, including careful screening for contraindications such as implanted devices or metal objects. You will operate MRI equipment, select appropriate imaging protocols, and adjust technical factors based on patient condition and clinical indication. You will consistently follow radiation safety and MRI safety guidelines, maintain a safe environment in and around the magnet, and respond appropriately to emergencies. You will review images for diagnostic quality, troubleshoot basic equipment issues, and collaborate with radiologists to ensure that imaging needs are met. Assignments with Fusion Medical Staffing will take you to different hospitals, imaging centers, and healthcare facilities, where you will adapt to local workflows, electronic medical record systems, and protocols. You will be expected to demonstrate professionalism, strong communication skills, and flexibility as you integrate into new teams and support staff coverage needs.
