Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel MRI Technologist to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services at healthcare and medical facilities across the United States. As a key member of the care team, you will perform MRI procedures that support accurate diagnosis and treatment, while representing Fusion’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and teamwork. In this role, you will travel to a variety of hospitals, imaging centers, and clinics, adapting to new environments and clinical workflows while maintaining excellent patient care standards. You will verify patient identity and medical history, screen for MRI safety and contraindications, position patients correctly, and operate MRI equipment to obtain clear, diagnostically useful images according to physician orders and facility protocols. You will follow radiation safety and MRI safety guidelines, adhere to infection control procedures, and ensure that all imaging is completed accurately, efficiently, and with a strong focus on patient comfort and communication. The Travel MRI Technologist will collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other clinical staff to coordinate imaging schedules, review exam protocols, and respond to urgent imaging needs. You will manage contrast administration when required, monitor patients for adverse reactions, and document all procedures, patient information, and imaging details in the electronic medical record. You will be responsible for basic troubleshooting of MRI equipment, recognizing image quality issues, and working with onsite staff or service vendors when technical problems arise.
