CNC Machinist / GD&T - 2nd Shift - Orlando, FL

You will be the CNC Machinist / GD&T for the Machining Operations Center (MOC). Our team is responsible for ultra-precision machining, paint and plate operations, precision assembly, and the development and production of complex machined components.

What You Will Be Doing

As the CNC Machinist / GD&T you will set up and operate a variety of manual, CNC and grinding machines, interpret blueprints (including GD&T), and fabricate complex parts to exacting tolerances. You will also suggest producibility improvements, calibrate tools, and ensure every component meets specifications.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Set up and run manual and CNC machines for drilling, boring, milling, and turning of metal, exotic non-metallic and composite materials.
• Operate grinding equipment to form, sharpen and finish cutters, drills and other tooling.
• Read and apply engineering drawings, GD&T, and specifications to fabricate complex parts.
• Use precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, CMMs) to verify dimensions and surface finish.
• Propose design or process changes that enhance manufacturability and reduce cycle time.
