Summer Groundskeeper
This is a temporary summer position that will typically assist in the grass cutting during the Summer months June, July, early August.
Qualifications include the following:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Valid Driver's License, with clean driving record
Preference to college students and recent graduates of the Mehlville School District
Essential job functions include the following:
Safely maintains and ensures the beauty of the grounds including cutting grass, controlling weeds, trimming landscaping and caring for plants, trees and shrubs
Hauls dirt, sand, gravel and mulch
Operates, repairs and maintains grounds maintenance equipment and ensures its safety
Moves heavy objects and equipment
Prepares athletic fields for sporting events
Landscaping
Assisting the Maintenance Technicians
Other duties may be assigned
