Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Specialist
LHH is partnering with a stable, growing organization near Solon, Ohio to hire an Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Specialist for a hybrid, contract-to-hire opportunity. This role is ideal for an AP/AR professional with SAP experience who enjoys hands-on accounting work and is looking for long-term potential.
This position offers pay up to $27/hour, a collaborative team environment, and a clear path to permanent employment.
What You'll Be Doing
Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable, including invoice processing, three-way matching, discrepancy resolution, and payment runs
Support Accounts Receivable tasks such as invoicing, cash application, collections follow-up, and aging analysis
Work in SAP for AP/AR transactions, reporting, and reconciliations
Process high-volume invoices while maintaining strong accuracy and internal controls
Partner with purchasing, sales, and operations teams to resolve vendor and customer issues
Assist with month-end close, including reconciliations and journal entries
Use Excel for reporting, reconciliations, and tracking
Support system updates and process improvements
What We're Looking For
Prior experience in Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable
SAP experience required
Comfortable in a high-volume accounting environment
Strong understanding of invoicing, payments, cash application, and reconciliations
Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, reconciliations preferred)
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently
Strong communication skills and team-focused mindset
