This classification of Admissions Clerk at MTMHI currently has an approved hiring rate of $3,250 monthly/$39,000 yearly.

Qualifications
Education and Experience: Education equivalent to graduation from a standard high school.
Necessary Special Qualifications: A valid motor vehicle operator license may be required; some positions may require a valid motor vehicle operator's license with a FOR HIRE (F) endorsement.
Overview
MTMHI is seeking an Admissions Clerk to manage and process patient admissions efficiently while ensuring accuracy and compliance with hospital policies. This position plays a key role in maintaining hospital operations by coordinating referrals, tracking admissions, and ensuring data integrity in hospital systems.
Responsibilities
- Process admissions referrals, including paperwork preparation, tracking pending referrals, and issuing ASA Bed Confirmations.
- Monitor and update hospital status by sending notifications when admissions are on Diversion.
- Ensure accurate data entry into AVATAR, preventing duplicate MPI numbers and errors in unit and physician assignments.
- Follow admissions policies and procedures before assigning patients to their designated units.
