STORE DESIGN & CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER
Duties & Responsibilities

Manage projects to meet target deadlines and budgets; conceptualize, execute and implement creative ideas.

Handle all design matters on architectural, ID, landscape fronts; review all floor plans and design development packages; evaluate all fixtures, finishes and construction details for construction accuracy.

Oversee project management of all materials and sampling to ensure all materials meet brand standards.

Review design details for safety, practicality, cost efficiency, aesthetic value, functionality, maintainability and customer experience in compliance with design guidelines and propose improvements to achieve cost optimization.

Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule and within budget constraints.

Propose, negotiate and direct the selection of general contractors, architectural services and other external firms for special projects.

Establish and maintain relationships with vendors/sub‑contractors as long‑term business partners.

Coordinate internal resources and vendors/sub‑contractors for timely/quality execution of projects.

Lead the Store Design team, providing guidance and support to drive successful store development projects.

Stay updated with industry trends, emerging materials and innovative design techniques to consistently deliver cutting‑edge and imperative designs.

Work closely with Merchandising to determine display styling and fixture requirements and produce display guidelines.

Adopt new ideas into store designs.

Brainstorm ideas with General Manager.

Job Requirements

Candidate must possess at least a bachelor’s degree in interior architecture, interior design or equivalent.

Minimum 5 years of working experience in store design & construction in the retail industry.

Good working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Illustrator.

Must be skilled in AutoCAD and modelling software such as SketchUp/3D Max.

Must be able to operate 3D rendering software.

Able to perform under constant work pressure and expectations due to the growth of store openings.
