Clerical/Expeditor
This position will assist with daily needs of production supervisor, machine shop supervisor and quality supervisor by direction of the production manager.
Responsibilities include:
Pull charts from computer database for dip braze and age heat treat
Data entry in travelers for operations requiring oven charts
Review previous operations for proper physical sign offs and ERP sign offs
Move components and chassis between departments and operations
Move material from parking spots to machines
Scanning documentation into system
Assist with shipping, packing and receiving
Back up parts delivery driver as needed
Forklift operator as needed
Uphold the company core values.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications include:
Must have the knowledge and experience necessary for the position.
Must be able to follow instructions and procedures and work with minimal supervision.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Must be adaptable to a changing work environment and competing demands
Education and/or experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
2 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language skills: Ability to speak and understand basic safety and manufacturing instructions.
Mathematical skills: Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers. Ability to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
Reasoning ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
