About The Role
The Residential Community Manager is responsible for the overall operation of a residential community. This includes managing property operations, maintaining resident relations, ensuring compliance with policies, and overseeing financial aspects such as budgeting and rent collection. The manager must foster a positive living environment, handle resident inquiries and complaints, and ensure the property is well‑maintained, safe, and compliant with all regulations.
Position Logistics
Primary Work Location: Silverthorne Apartments | Sioux Falls, SD
Work Environment: On‑Site
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8 am - 6 pm
Work Type: Full Time (40 hours/week)
Who We're Looking For
Lead and inspire a talented team of Assistant Community Managers, Leasing Consultants, and Resident Ambassadors to achieve personal and team goals.
Drive Operational Excellence: Oversee all on‑site operations, from optimizing sales processes to building strong resident and vendor relationships, while ensuring that the property’s curb appeal and reputation shine.
Boost Property Performance: Develop and execute strategies to improve property financials through savvy invoice and contract negotiations, competitive rent and incentive programs, and market analysis.
Own the Collection Process: Manage the delinquency and collection process with care, compassion, and professionalism, ensuring residents are supported through payment plans and communications.
Set the Standard for Service: Lead by example in providing outstanding customer service to residents and your internal team, creating a welcoming and positive environment for all.

Qualifications
A High School Diploma (or equivalent) is required
A minimum of 3 years of sales experience, with a track record of success
Residential property management experience is a plus, but not required
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with AppFolio is a bonus
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
