We’re hiring a Production Manager to take full responsibility for project execution while helping us scale. This is a growth‑track position—ideal for someone who already performs at a high level and is ready to expand their impact over the next 2‑3 years.
What You’ll Be Doing
Build, update, and enforce detailed project schedules (daily/weekly lookaheads)
Coordinate and sequence subcontractors to avoid downtime and trade stacking
Conduct regular site walks to verify progress, quality, and job site standards
Manage client relationships through clear, proactive communication
Review plans and scope to ensure field execution aligns with design intent
Identify and resolve field issues before they impact schedule or quality
Oversee material procurement timing to prevent delays
Maintain accurate project data in construction management software
Hold trades accountable to timelines, quality, and commitments
Mentor field staff and support the development of less experienced team members
Uphold Gill Construction’s standards for professionalism, organization, and execution on every job site
What We’re Looking For
5‑7 years of residential construction experience, with proven project leadership
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent hands‑on experience
Strong understanding of residential construction sequencing and best practices
Proven ability to manage multiple projects, schedules, and subcontractors
Experience managing both client relationships and field operations
Comfortable using construction management software (Buildertrend, CoConstruct, Procore, or similar)
Highly organized with strong documentation and follow‑through habits
Ability to anticipate issues and solve problems proactively
Leadership style that is accountable, supportive, and team‑oriented
