Our client is a growing residential and light commercial renovation company operating throughout North Florida. They are seeking a
Residential Construction Project Manager
to lead remodeling projects from pre-construction through final closeout, with a strong focus on execution, communication, and client satisfaction.
This is a hands‑on role for an experienced Residential Construction Project Manager who can independently manage multiple projects, coordinate subcontractors, and serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners.
Responsibilities
Manage full lifecycle of residential remodeling projects from pre-construction handoff through final punch list and closeout.
Oversee
multiple active projects simultaneously , including scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and daily site operations.
Conduct regular site visits to ensure quality, safety, and adherence to scope and schedule.
Maintain and update project schedules, documentation, and communication within
Buildertrend or similar construction management software .
Coordinate and communicate
change orders, budgets, and timelines
with homeowners.
Hold subcontractors accountable for workmanship, timelines, and scope execution across trades (e.g., carpentry, electrical, plumbing, finishing).
Submit daily/weekly project updates and proactively identify schedule or budget risks.
Ensure all work complies with
local building codes and inspection requirements .
Partner with internal teams during pre-construction to ensure smooth project handoff.
Qualifications
5+ years of residential remodeling or construction Project Management experience, required.
Experience managing
multiple residential renovation projects simultaneously
with minimal oversight.
Proven experience coordinating subcontractors and managing job site activity across multiple trades.
Experience using
Buildertrend or similar construction/project management software.
Strong experience managing
project schedules, change orders, and client communication.
Ability to work directly with homeowners and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
Must be
based in or willing to relocate to the Tallahassee, FL area.
Compensation
Base salary in the 90k - 95k/year range.
