Administrative Assistant Support
Culmen International is seeking an Administrative Assistant Support to support the Naval Medical Research UnitDayton (NAMRU-D) Administrative Support Program at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio.
What You'll Do in Your New Role
Perform general administrative duties, including answering telephones, taking messages, receiving and routing mail and deliveries, and greeting/escorting visitors. (daily)
Schedule and manage conference room usage; coordinate logistics and preparation for scheduled meetings. (daily)
Record and transcribe accurate meeting minutes for designated meetings. (weekly)
Draft, format, and review official correspondence in accordance with the Navy Correspondence Manual and applicable directives. (weekly)
Support the NAMRU-D Records Management and Correspondence Control Programs in compliance with DoD, Navy, BUMED, and local policies. (weekly)
Attend Command meetings and sponsored events to compile, record, and maintain meeting/event documentation. (weekly)
Required Qualifications
Active Secret Clearance
Associate Degree in business and a clerical field with two (2) years' experience, or documented administrative experience of four years or greater.
Proficient in basic office functions and records management.
Experience in supporting staff at a major corporation or military command.
Must have excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
Displays discretion, good judgment, organizational or management ability, initiative, and the ability to work independently.
Fluent with computer software, including the Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Suite programs
