lephante is hiring hosts to join our team at our iconic Santa Monica rooftop restaurant. lephante is known for its high-energy atmosphere, coastal Italian cuisine, and one of the busiest dining rooms on the Westside. Our host team plays a critical role in setting the tone for the guest experience from the moment guests arrive.

We are looking for hosts who are polished, organized, and hospitality-driven, and who can confidently manage guest flow in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

What We're Looking For

• Previous host, reservations, or guest services experience preferred
• Experience in high-volume restaurants strongly preferred
• Strong communication and guest service skills
• Professional and welcoming demeanor
• Ability to stay organized and composed during busy services
• Strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and create a positive first impression
• Manage the reservation book and waitlist using OpenTable
• Seat guests efficiently while maintaining proper table pacing
• Communicate with management and service teams to ensure smooth dining room flow
• Provide accurate wait times and assist guests with reservation questions
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the host stand and entrance area
• Assist with guest inquiries and special requests

Compensation & Benefits
