Position Summary
An Andretti Host is a part‑time role responsible for anticipating guest needs, exceeding guest service expectations, and providing a fun and exciting atmosphere while adhering to Andretti Indoor Karting & Games’ high standards of quality and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome visitors by greeting them in a friendly and positive manner.
Meet, greet and seat guests to ensure positive experiences.
Make fair and consistent decisions on seating for guests and parties.
Provide information regarding all aspects of the restaurant and company, including specials.
Tend to guest special needs and requests, ensuring service staff and kitchen are aware of allergies.
Assist with delivering food to guests.
Support the busser department in set up, breakdown, and cleaning of tables.
Observe, instruct and monitor guests for safety and guideline adherence.
Assist with guest recovery and notify the manager to ensure positive experiences.
Maintain a constant working knowledge of Andretti brand, product, policies, and procedures.
Communicate clearly and professionally while interacting enthusiastically with guests and co‑workers.
Perform opening, running, and closing department duties as assigned.
Be aware and knowledgeable of facility emergency procedures.
Skills & Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent.
1+ year prior guest service experience preferred in hospitality, restaurant or entertainment settings.
Ability to work a varied schedule including days, nights, holidays and weekends.
Excellent verbal communication skills and strong attention to detail.
Ability to use a point‑of‑sale system and electronic equipment.
Responsiveness and a sense of urgency in guest service.
Knowledge of facility emergency procedures.
Physical Requirements
Walk or stand for extended periods.
Lifting up to 15 lbs on a regular basis; ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
Perform functions requiring organization, bending, reaching, turning, lifting, climbing, and stocking.
Ability to communicate quickly and accurately.
Environment may include bright or flashing lights and loud sounds.
Require manual dexterity to use and operate necessary equipment.
Maintain safety standards at all times.
