Research Analyst – Audio & Media Research
iHeartMedia is looking for a Research Analyst to transform complex data into clear, actionable insights that guide business decisions across advertising and media.

What You’ll Do

Utilize primary and syndicated research databases to provide quantitative and qualitative data for prospective and current advertisers.

Create insightful, data‑driven presentations that meet internal sales teams’ and client needs and objectives.

Fulfill ad‑hoc sales research requests across audience metrics, consumer insights, competitive advertising spend, targeting, and overall marketplace trends.

Assist with project management and data analysis for advertising effectiveness and impact projects.

Educate and partner with marketing and sales staff on how to best use quantitative and qualitative analytics.

Coach and train sales on effective data presentation.

Explore opportunities for AI to assist in analysis, charting, and presentations.

Identify new ways to deliver exceptional results quickly.

Qualifications & Experience

Proficiency with media research tools (Nielsen Audio, Scarborough, MRI‑Simmons, ACT 1, Media Monitors, Nielsen TV, comScore).

Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Experience with additional analytic and database tools.

Strong analytical aptitude combined with creative problem‑solving skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills; ability to build positive relationships across roles.

Ability to articulate a clear “story” across assets, platforms, and audiences.

Passion for music, audio, entertainment, and pop culture.

Strong project management and expectation‑setting skills in a fast‑paced environment.

Bachelor’s degree or higher.

Continuous learning mindset and curiosity.

Understanding of audio channels (radio, podcasting, streaming) and advertising fundamentals (reach, frequency, KPI, impressions, rating points, demographics).

Compensation
Hourly rate: $21.15 – $26.44. Salary to be determined by relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and market data.
