We are seeking a dynamic and personable individual to join our team as a Host/Hostess at "The View" at Colony West. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include greeting guests warmly as they enter "The View" and providing a positive first impression. Manage reservations and efficiently seat guests, taking into account server rotation and section assignments. Effectively communicate with the kitchen and servers to ensure a smooth and organized flow of service. Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host stand, lobby, and waiting areas. Assist with managing waitlists during peak hours and estimate wait times accurately. Provide guests with information about the menu, daily specials, and any promotions. Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests in a professional and courteous manner. Collaborate with servers and management to optimize guest satisfaction and resolve any issues that may arise.

Requirements: Previous experience in a similar role or customer service position is preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure in a high-volume environment. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Familiarity with reservation systems and basic knowledge of restaurant operations. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
