The host & support team is our first impression to welcome guests & visitors. This role requires a professional demeanor, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to be the first face of our brand. We will provide opportunities to grow within your role, our venue, and the industry we call home!
Essential job duties:
- Management of the reservation platform alongside MOD
- Greet, seat, and welcome guests with menus and any initial service ware
- Awareness of dining room status, dirty/clean tables, and server sections
- Communication with FOH and BOH, and providing additional support as needed
- Taking guest information and quoting any wait times to guests
- Cleans, organizes, and stocks menus at the host area
- Professionally answering phones and managing incoming inquiries
- Providing warm & memorable hospitality in the lobby upon guest entrance and exit
- Cocktail service or additional tasks may be required
Knowledge / skills required:
- Customer service experience preferred, but not required
- Upscale dining or high-end restaurant experience/sensibility: a plus!
- Willingness to learn and attend supplemental staff trainings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and a commitment to hospitality
