Role Responsibility
-Identify and develop ceramic, metallic, and composite materials suitable for SOFC electrolytes, electrodes, and interconnects
-Ensure chemical compatibility among materials to prevent degradation during operation
-Select high-temperature resistant alloys and coatings for structural and sealing components
●Stack Architecture & Interface Engineering
-Optimize cell-to-cell interfaces to minimize contact resistance and mechanical stress
-Design stack layouts that balance power density, thermal management, and mechanical integrity.
-Ensure compatibility of materials across the stack to prevent chemical reactions or mismatched thermal expansion.
●Familiar with Ceramic-like Material Manufacturing Process
-Develop fabrication processes (powder synthesis, sintering, tape casting, coating)
-Support scale-up from prototype to commercial stack production.
-Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure cost-effective and reproducible processes.
●Cell Electrochemical Performance Test
-Conduct electrochemical performance tests (current-voltage curves, impedance spectroscopy).
-Perform mechanical and thermal cycling tests to evaluate stack durability.
-Analyze failure mechanisms such as cracking, delamination, or seal leakage.
●Bachelor of Science in Material Science and Engineering

●Master Degree in Material Science and Engineering
