Production Worker

The position of Production Worker is responsible for performing repetitive workstation, or line assembly operations to mass-produce sheet metal components, or to assemble those components into a completed product. This is done by operating machinery and other related duties as required.

Essential Functions

  • Performs assembly-type functions using hand and/or power tools
  • Operates press brake to form flat sheets
  • Operates automatic fastening machines and devices
  • Operates both stationary and moving overhead cranes
  • Operates forklift as required at this job.

Other Functions

  • Other tasks as assigned by the Company.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

  • High School Diploma or GED, preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year general work production/manufacturing experience preferred
  • Ability to perform assembly type functions using hand and/or power tools
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screen
  • Experience operating a forklift
  • Ability to write and read routine reports or job orders. Ability to understand job instructions.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to interpret, understand, and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form.
  • Attendance is required Monday through Friday within normal business hours as established by the supervisor. Employee may be required to work overtime.
