Salary: $3,081.10 - $3,281.10 /wk Join our skilled team of imaging professionals as an IR Tech and use your expertise to perform invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures. You will be responsible for the operation and quality assurance of film processing, patient monitoring, and x-ray equipment. Minimum Requirements: 1 year of Interventional Radiology Technologist experience. Client will accept first-time travelers. American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) - ARRT-R required. Graduate from AMA-approved accredited Radiologic Technologist program. BLS certification required. State radiologic technologist license for North Carolina. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high patient acuity environment and demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills. Experience with Siemens single-plane and bi-plane systems and Canon bi-plane equipment preferred. Assignment Details Facility Type: Hospital. Department: Radiology - Special Studies / Interventional Radiology. Standard Hours Per Week: 40. Duration: 10 Week travel assignment. Scheduling: Travelers will work the same shift and times as agreed in the contract. The department is staffed 24/7/365 and travelers may be placed on 1st, 2nd, 3rd shifts or weekend shifts as required by the contract. On call: Call coverage is required as part of a fair rotation among full time, part time, PRN, and traveler staff. Orientation: Facility tour and 5 days departmental orientation (adjustable based on traveler needs). Floating: No floating to other facilities. The city supports public transit with the LYNX Blue Line light rail connecting Uptown to South End in under 20 minutes, and Charlotte Douglas International Airport offers regional and international flights within a 20-30 minute drive from Uptown.
